Production Log 4

This week was successful. What had happened this week was that first of all we had received our first draft feedback on the film and it was positive and they had liked the initial draft of the film, the only changes that we had been asked to do was the duration of the back section to be shorter and the levels of the sounds on the date scene. We had also been told a idea on how the first could be structured was we had been told that what if the last sense of the short film could be placed as the first sense, we had implied this opinion and had previewed it and had like the outcome much better than the first structure. we then had created the final cut of the film and liked the structure of the outcome of it and had rendered and uploaded it at 1080p and 25fps as the standard film.

Challenges that we had faced this week was that we had an intendent occurred the music that we had original said that we wanted to be include into the date scene was non copyright music we had then later seen that the music was copyright this was show when we had seen that the YouTube notice that the music was copyrighted and was unable to play the video so we had to go back to editing and change the music to a non-copyright music.

We do not have a target for next week was we have completed out short film and made the final cut of the film and we have final the final projection of the film.

We had a team meeting throughout this week while we were editing the final cut of the short film. We had discussed the structure of the short film and had taken the idea of placing the last scene first and we both had agreed that it had made the short film so much better and it started and ended with the audience of feeling hopeful for the character.

The team performance for this week was effective to the short film in a positive because we had finished the final cut of the film before the week had finished. The editor that we had was quick to make any changes that we were told that could be improved and the director had agreed to the improvement and had supported the idea and the editor to make the changes.

Contingency that we had used this week was that we had come across a problem that one piece of the music that we had used was copyrighted, so we had to go towards our contingency and replace the music. Were we had seen this problem was when we had uploaded the cut of the film to YouTube and had got a copyright notice.

We had previewed the short film many time to see if there were any error with the footage, or if there was sound of a cut out of place, we had did this throughout and had did it multiple times when we had moved the last scene around to see if there was an error occurred. The final cut was shown on full screen as we was going to render and uploaded it for out audience to see.

The only problem that had occurred this week was the copyright music that we had used , but how I had said that we had go back to the edit final and had changed the final cut of the short film and changed the music to our contingency music.

The quality control that we had this week was the sound level as on final cut X we had placed a sound meter on the page and had played the short film from beginning to end and watched the sound level meter and every time that the meter went above 0DB it was too loud as the sound would crackle, so we had placed the sound level down so it won't go above 0DB.
